Anson McCade is delighted to be partnering with a global financial institution as they seek to appoint Technical Project Managers to their experienced UK operations.
The Technical Project Manager act as a custodian of the agile process, providing advice, support, and driving continuous improvement.
This role is pivotal in redesigning team workflows, building capabilities, fostering effective leadership, embedding behavioural changes, and ensuring the delivery of high-value outcomes for the business.
The successful candidate will manage complexity by overseeing multiple work streams, handling dependencies across programs and portfolios, and implementing changes across a diverse and intricate estate.
Strong leadership skills and stakeholder management are essential, with an emphasis on managing expectations at senior levels, including Director-level colleagues.
Key Responsibilities The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for: Establishing agile feature teams for complex projects and programs.
Organizing and leading Scrum ceremonies, including daily scrums, scrum of scrums, sprint demos, and retrospectives.
Collaborating with Product Owners (POs) and Solution Architects (SAs) to establish and manage backlogs effectively.
Coaching and guiding team members in agile practices to increase productivity.
Developing and maintaining agile delivery metrics to monitor progress, identify blockers, and accurately represent sprint status.
Building and managing relationships with stakeholders across the Business, Operations, and Technology to secure buy-in and assess the impact of changes.
Preparing for change through thorough planning and forecasting of required efforts for both business and technology.
Utilizing strong communication and networking skills to influence internal and external stakeholders and develop a holistic understanding of risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
Ensuring projects are closed satisfactorily in line with established governance frameworks.
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Prior experience in financial services/consultancy would be highly advantageous.

They will demonstrate expertise in agile methodologies and a track record of driving organizational change effectively.
