This permanent role with an important client of ours offers the opportunity to lead and manage diverse, impactful projects in defence and public sector procurement.
Please note: Candidates *must* be sole UK nationals and eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) to apply.
Key Skills Required: Strong project management skills with a focus on technology delivery and digital transformation. Familiarity with IT service management frameworks like ITIL v4. Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills and analytical prowess. Practitioner-level qualifications in recognized project/programme management methodologies. The ability to build networks, lead teams, and motivate stakeholders. A degree or equivalent in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or Physics is desirable. Experience in public sector procurement or Defence & Security is a plus. What You'll Do: Define, manage, and deliver complex digital transformation projects. Lead internal and supplier teams with professionalism and discipline throughout all phases of delivery. Leverage expertise in methodologies like Agile, Scaled Agile, and Waterfall to ensure successful outcomes. Employ tools like MS Project, JIRA, and Primavera P6 for efficient project management. Champion project management best practices and maintain rigorous documentation and configuration control. Engage with public sector procurement processes, ensuring scrutiny and compliance.
