The role Koodoo seeks a Technical Product Manager for our Verify squad, responsible for leading the development of our document verification product. Reporting to the Head of Product, you'll champion solutions that minimise manual intervention, maintain regulatory compliance, and scale with our partners in the mortgage industry. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, data, and business teams to ensure high standards of accuracy, security, and speed.

As the product lead, you'll define product requirements, manage feature development, and integrate Koodoo's Verify technology with internal and client systems.

In this role, you will:

Develop and enhance Koodoo Verify's core functionalities in document validation, including data validation, extraction and fraud detection. Build a data environment that delivers real-time feedback, aiding our clients in decision-making, process optimisation and compliance adherence. Oversee the integration of robust APIs to allow seamless data flow and easy client access. Execute testing strategies to validate features and continuously improve the product based on user feedback. Key Responsibilities: Champion a visionary product strategy: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop and uphold a forward-looking product strategy for Koodoo Verify. Your work will align product goals with the company's strategic objectives, ensuring that the Verify product delivers high value to clients and supports Koodoo's mission. Product development: Lead the development of core functionalities, such as document validation, data extraction, and fraud detection, aligning them with financial regulations. API and integration management: Oversee API integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility for clients. Technical requirements gathering: Translate complex regulatory needs into actionable, detailed technical requirements for engineering. Metrics and data Insights: Define product success metrics, analyze performance data, and refine features to maximize accuracy and efficiency. Lead continuous product discovery: Conduct ongoing research and gather insights from clients, stakeholders, and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Use these insights to refine Koodoo Verify, ensuring the product consistently meets evolving client needs and regulatory standards. Roadmap ownership: Prioritise and communicate a clear roadmap for product enhancements, coordinating with engineering and business teams to deliver strategic goals. Skills and Experience: Essential 3 - 4 years of experience in product management with a track record of delivering demonstrable improvements to a technical product roadmap. Technical Skills: Experience with API management and testing, familiarity with data extraction tools, and an understanding of AI applications. Analytical Mindset: Ability to synthesise data and apply it to enhance product functionality and compliance. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Nice to have Background in document verification, compliance, or financial services. Experience in FinTech or regulated industries.
