This role will be pivotal in managing technical and quality-related issues while fostering strong, productive relationships with customers, suppliers, and growers.
You will serve as the technical point of contact for a variety of key retail accounts and play a critical role in ensuring product quality, compliance, and innovation.The roleSupport the Senior Technical Manager on day-to-day technical and quality issues.Serve as the technical liaison for selected retail customers,Drive customer-focused initiatives related to quality, food safety, sustainability, and NPD (New Product Development).Manage customer queries, complaints, and product rejections, providing prompt updates to relevant stakeholders.Collaborate with Product Managers to enhance quality performance and operational efficiency.Maintain accurate customer specifications and ensure supplier alignment.Host customer visits, showcasing the site and supplier operations.Support due diligence processes across food safety, legality, quality, ethics, and sustainability.Personal SpecificationWorked within food or fresh produce in a technical manager or technologist position and dealt directly with retailersExceptional communication skills (verbal and written).Customer-facing experience with top 5 retailersAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Thorough attention to detail and a commitment to quality.A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.If you are passionate about technical excellence, quality management, and customer satisfaction, we'd love to hear from you.
