Technical Manager

Up to £74k + benefits (DOE).Perhaps a change of scene for the New Year?I'm helping an International Food Manufacturer that produce a number of well-known Branded and Own-Label products source a Site Technical Manager for their Norfolk operations.
As the Site Technical expert, you will be responsible for driving improvements in the Food Safety Culture and Quality Management System while helping optimize relationships with Retailer customers.This will suit someone who has an outgoing, energetic personality who can engage and form relationships at all levels.
One of the key elements to the role is to continue to develop the positive working relationship between the Technical and Operations teams.The role:Reporting into Site GM / you will manage a Team of 7.Spot the gaps where improvements can be made and propose sustainable solutions.Ensure compliance to the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and customer policies / codes of practice.Motivate, coach, develop and succession plan the Technical team.Be the Technical point of contact for customers, auditing bodies and Government bodies.Why join:Leading Brands in Healthy category.
