About Us Affiliated Utilities are an award winning energy management practice with a strong reputation for innovation in delivering bespoke client solutions across contracts & procurement, bill validation, green energy, carbon management and tenant recharging.

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Technical Manager to work with new and existing clients to onboard sites or to work with our technical teams to establish repairs, maintenance, replacement of metering, data logging and AMR equipment.

The role can either be based in our Salford office or from home visiting our clients as needed.
Our client base covers the UK with a higher density within London.
Vehicle, Oyster card is provided if needed.

We work within the communal energy or district energy markets but also have gas, electricity and water networks within our portfolio.

Some networks need updating with modern equipment and you would take a lead role working with our engineers and clients to guide them through the repair phase and onboarding their sites to allow tenant rebilling.
Our tenants are both domestic and commercial and each customer may require different strategies depending on size of network which varies from 10 to over 700 tenants.

You must have experience of working within communal or district energy, understand technically meters, data loggers, wireless &wired solutions, pre-payment and credit billing and have the ability to project manage new installations, maintenance & repair teams.
Some projects maybe brownfield or greenfield development.

This would suit someone who was a hands on engineer looking for their next step or someone who wishes to remain hands on to a lesser extent.

You will have experience of the technical AMR infrastructure and potentially BMS systems and will be working with products such as Elvaco, Synapses, Izar, Secure Meters, Guru, Insight, or Evinox and understand LOWRAWAN, wireless, wired, systems.
You must also have developed customer skills to talk them through the onboarding process of understanding their networks and how we can help them charge their tenants.
