Planet Pharma are collaborating with a top-leading pharmaceutical company who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Department Manager to oversee the efficient and compliant operation of our Technical Manufacturing, Packaging, and Artwork teams.
This leadership role involves ensuring GMP compliance, driving continuous improvement, and providing subject matter expertise in packaging, material science, product formulation, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage departmental operations, ensuring GMP and safety compliance.
Provide technical expertise in the development and change management of packaging, manufacturing, and product formulation.
Oversee artwork development, batch record generation, supplier management, and process control measures.
Collaborate with operational leadership to ensure efficient, cost-effective production.
Manage technical activities including process validation, change management, and deviation investigations.
Support global teams in product development, registration, and launches.
Ensure the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of approved SOPs for all technical operations to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications: Proven experience in technical leadership within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
Expertise in packaging, material science, and product formulation.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
