We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join our team and support the Technical Director in overseeing technical operations across multiple building safety projects from conception to completion.

As a Technical Manager , you'll play a key role in ensuring day-to-day project activities are delivered accurately and on time .
Your work will focus on high and medium-rise construction, external wall and façade designs, and building safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee technical aspects of multiple complex building safety projects.
Mentor and support members of the technical team.
Manage the technical process, from tendering project consultants to securing accurate project documentation.
Handle planning, building regulations, and conditions.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies (Planning, Building Control, Fire Services) and ensure compliance with all standards, including the Building Safety Act .
Liaise with Commercial and Site teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
Control technical fees budgets and oversee project cost accuracy.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills: Experience: Previous experience as a Technical Manager or in a similar role, ideally within a technical function (volume housebuilder experience desirable).
Architectural/technical drawing experience.
Expertise in high and medium-rise construction, external wall/façade design, and fire safety regulations.
Strong understanding of Building Regulations , the Building Safety Act , and CDM Regulations.
Qualifications: Degree-level qualification or HNC/HND in a technical subject.
CSCS card or equivalent.
Full UK driving licence.
Skills and Aptitude: Strong understanding of building techniques , materials , and regulations .
Excellent problem-solving, delegation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Methodical, organised, and detail-oriented.
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
