A prominent organisation is looking for a Technical Manager to join their team, specialising in remediation works for legacy projects. This role, based at their Essex office, blends technical expertise with project management, providing valuable experience and career advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: Take the lead on technical aspects of projects from bid or tender stage through to completion. Ensure the effective delivery of technical duties at all project phases. Provide technical support post-completion as needed. Act as the primary contact for clients and co-ordinate with the construction team throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects, including services and landscaping. Manage stakeholder expectations, including those of project stakeholders, residential customers, external design consultants, and suppliers/contractors. Gather and review existing drawing information to establish accurate project data and specifications for remediation efforts. Evaluate Visual Inspection Reports and assess building heights. Collaborate with Fire Engineers to define the scope of necessary works and identify areas for investigation related to existing external wall structures, cladding types, and fire stopping. Work with external consultants and Fire Engineers on Intrusive Reports to determine the extent of required works.
