Role: Technical Field Engineer / Data Center Engineer
Type: Permanent - Full-time
Location: Watford, UK - On-site full-time Salary: £32.5K base + car allowance £4.8K + outer London allowance £800
We are looking for an experienced Technical Field Engineer with a strong background in HPE ProLiant servers.
You will serve as an onsite resident engineer, responsible for break-fix activity and maintaining hardware for a key client.

This role requires exceptional problem-solving abilities, excellent customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Perform break-fix activities on HPE ProLiant servers and other hardware.
Troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues on server and storage systems.
Communicate effectively with customers, including senior stakeholders.
Maintain strict adherence to security and data protection policies.
Ensure SLA requirements and customer satisfaction metrics are met.
Update and maintain detailed records in ticket-handling systems.
What You'll Need: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with HPE ProLiant servers.
Proven service maintenance background.
Full UK driving license.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to simplify complex technical details.
A proactive and organised approach to work.
Nice to Have: Knowledge of additional hardware (e.g., Dell PowerEdge, Brocade, HPE storage platforms).
ITIL Service Management Foundation certification.
Experience with IT incident management.
