Technical Event Support Apprentice

Ardingly College is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual who is interested in obtaining qualifications and starting a career as a Production Engineer.
The post-holder will complete an apprenticeship under the Creative Venue Technician framework at Level 3.
The apprenticeship is expected to run for a period of 24 months and is fully funded and supported by the College.This role will work with our Technical Event Manager in all aspects of events and productions within the College.
The post holder will work as part of a team to enable & assist with all the technical requirements required by all academic, co-curricular and event projects within the College.
The post holder will be entering a fast-paced dynamic environment working with creatives that are keen to push boundaries in the development of technical arts.The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in sound engineering and lighting operation with a basic knowledge of sound and lighting systems.Working hours are 40 hours per week, for 52 weeks per year. Flexibility in working hours will be required to meet the demands of the College.Salary is £24,960 per annum and includes 25 days holiday plus bank holidaysAll staff are provided with complimentary meals when working and have access to onsite gym and other wellbeing activities.
