Technical Director - Integral UK Cooling Technologies DivisionIntroduction: As the Technical Director of the Cooling Technologies Division at Integral UK, you will play a critical role in leading and directing the technical functions of the division.
You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality cooling solutions, driving innovation, and maintaining technical excellence within the team.
This role requires a deep understanding of cooling technologies, along with strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Provide strategic and technical leadership to the division, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and objectives.
Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and training as needed.
Drive technical excellence by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Project Delivery: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of cooling solutions for our clients, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor project performance, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Innovation and Technology: Stay updated with the latest advancements in cooling technologies and identify opportunities for innovation within the division.
Drive research and development initiatives to enhance the division's technical capabilities and expand service offerings.
Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations on their suitability and potential integration.
Client Relationship Management: Act as a technical advisor to key clients, understanding their cooling needs and providing strategic guidance and solutions.
Foster strong relationships with clients, attending meetings, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the business development team to identify new opportunities and contribute to proposal development.
Quality Assurance and Compliance: Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct technical audits and reviews to maintain the highest level of quality in project delivery.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or Advanced Qualifications in Engineering or a related field (Preferred) Extensive experience in the cooling technologies industry, with a focus on large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
Solid understanding of HVAC, refrigeration systems, cooling towers, and associated equipment.
Proven track record in successfully leading technical teams and delivering complex projects.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to cooling technologies.
