The company This super creative events production company work with well known brands in the fashion, retail and drinks industries and deliver brand activations, festivals and events across the UK with full end to end production and build in-house.
With design and build in-house they are growing accounts and T/O year on year and now have an exciting opportunity to join their design and fabrication teams as a Technical Designer.
The role This fast paced role with bridge the gap between the creative design team and the fabrication process by producing manufacturing-ready drawings across a range of pop ups, brand activations and bespoke builds.
The projects vary in size and as Technical Designer you will use 3D modelling and 2D technical software to create plans that will be used in the workshop or provided to production and fabrication partners.
Site and survey maps, as well as installation packs will also be produced by you.
About you We are looking for a methodical approach and hands on technical design experience ideally within a fabrication or workshop environment.
You will have the ability to juggle multiple projects and have excellent attention to detail.
Software skills in 3D Vectorworks, Solidworks or Fusion 360 as well as 2D technical drawing / draughting is also key to apply.
An understanding of materials and fabrication methodology will also be required.
