Where you also play apart in national security engineering?Working within our advanced manufacturing facility you will bring yourexisting experience as a Technical Buyer to join our production controloffice.
You'll source, negotiate and purchase technical goods and servicesthat meet the needs of your manufacturing and engineering teams.Your previous background in technical procurement will be crucial to enableyour success in this role, including excellent supplier management skills, anda deep understanding of industry-specific materials and equipment.You'll play a crucial role in enabling teams to meet deadlines for criticalprojects by monitoring levels of stock and ensuring the parts and componentsneeded are available.You'll use your knowledge to support less experienced members of your team andalso continue to develop your expertise through on the job learning.
Therewill also be the opportunity to enrol on courses to support your learning too.More About YouTo apply for this role, you will already have:Experience of purchasing mechanical or electronic assemblies.The ability to read and interpret mechanical and electricalelectronicdrawings.Proficiency in utilising ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.
