Mid-Level Technical Business Analyst Location: Belfast (Hybrid: Up to 2 days in the office, 3 days remote)
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Bonus (with regular reviews)
About the Role Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Technical Business Analyst to act as the bridge between their talented software engineering teams and a long-established customer base.
You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, client-focused software solutions by translating business requirements into clear technical deliverables.

This hybrid role is based in Belfast, offering the opportunity to collaborate with innovative teams in-person while maintaining flexibility to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with clients to understand and capture their business needs, ensuring they are accurately translated into functional and technical specifications.

Work with software engineering teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with customer expectations.

Participate in workshops and client meetings, effectively communicating technical details in a way that is accessible to all stakeholders.

Support the delivery of high-quality software solutions by ensuring requirements are well-defined and feasible.

Monitor project progress and provide feedback to both clients and internal teams, helping to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.

Act as the key point of contact between the client and technical teams, fostering strong relationships and ensuring ongoing collaboration.

Essential Skills and Experience Experience in a business analysis role, ideally in a technical or software development environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven ability to document business requirements and create clear deliverables for development teams.

Problem-solving mindset, with excellent analytical skills.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills
Experience working with long-term customer accounts or established client bases.

Familiarity with software development processes and tools, such as Jira or Confluence.

Prior experience in a hybrid work environment.
