Position: Technical Author Location:  Worcester Type: Full-Time Salary: £30,000 - £40,000We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Technical Author to join a team of experts in delivering next-generation technology solutions This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking organisation known for its innovation and reliability.
Overview: The Technical Author will be responsible for producing and maintaining technical documentation, including operating manuals, maintenance guides, detailed specifications, and spare parts lists.
The role also involves ensuring documentation is consistent with company standards, delivered within agreed timelines, and optimised for the end users.
Key Responsibilities of the Technical Author: Create, update, and maintain technical documentation such as: Operating manuals Maintenance manuals Detailed specifications Spare parts lists Administer and maintain internal technical documentation systems.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to gather and verify technical details.
Ensure all documentation adheres to company standards for format, clarity, and usability.
Utilise and manipulate CAD systems (e.g., CATIA Composer, CREO Illustrate) to support documentation.
