Technical Author

Westlakes Recruit are currently looking for a Technical Author, in the commissioning department, on a contract basis in West Cumbria.
?
To produce a suite of compliant, professionally produced Operation and Maintenance (O&M) documents within defined time frames.
?
Interrogating engineering / design and vendor information to produce documentation.
?
Reporting directly to the Commissioning Support Manager.
?
Providing weekly progress updates.
?
Attending progress meetings.
?
Checking verification requirements in Commissioning Test Documents ?
Ensuring Safety is the highest priority on the project, with a continued strive towards Zero Harm.
?
Ensuring quality standards, and consistency are applied throughout the range of documentation being produced.
?
Supporting the development of a collaborative project culture in line with Collaborative Working Plan.
?
Minimum HNC in an appropriate discipline.
?
Previous Technical Author experience ?
IOSH Working or Managing Safely are essential
