Technical Auditor

Position: Technical Author Location: Worcester Salary: Up to £38994pa + Bens Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Technical Author to produce and maintain technical documentation for our European Engineering Team.
This role reports to the Team Leader/Senior Design Manager and focuses on creating and updating operating and maintenance manuals, detail specifications, and spare parts lists.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Operating Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, Detail Specifications, and spare parts lists.
Manage internal technical documents, including assembly instructions, machine manuals, and CE technical files.
Ensure all documentation meets company standards and is delivered within set timelines.
Qualifications HNC/HND qualification or equivalent in an engineering-related subject.
Excellent written English and strong literacy skills.
Computer literate, with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Strong team player, capable of working independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
Desirable Skill s Engineering background, ideally with machine tool experience.
Technical writing experience within an engineering environment.
Familiarity with CAD systems (CATIA Composer/CREO Illustrate preferred).
Basic knowledge of French and German.
Proficiency with graphic tools (Photoshop, PaintShop) and Microsoft Office (especially Word) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
