Technical Assessor (Carriage Of Dangerous Goods)

Role: Carriage of Dangerous Goods (Technical Assessor) Contract role Location: Remote, UK coverage We are currently looking for Carriage of Dangerous Goods (tank activities) to become our external technical assessor.
Playing a pivotal role, our external Technical Assessors are a crucial part of the UKAS assessment process, providing UKAS with the essential expertise required to deliver robust assessments in Pressure Equipment Safety.
Key skills: Have very strong knowledge required of Legislation, ADR, RID, IMDG Code, EN12972.
Be experienced in the inspection and certification of tanks and conformity assessment processes associated with Type Approval, Initial Inspection or Periodic Inspection.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with Certification Body staff, Senior Management Teams, Assessment Centres and their customers at all levels.
Full training will be provided for to become an Assessor in Report Writing to UKAS requirements offering ISO/IEC 17024:2012 standard awareness and UKAS systems training.
