Join a major public sector ERP stabilisation programme as a Technical Architect , where you'll bring your expertise in architecture review, security, and workflow optimisation to help guide and improve a core ERP setup.
Role Overview In this advisory role, you'll conduct an in-depth evaluation of the existing ERP architecture and provide high-level recommendations to enhance security, workflows, service calls, and forms setup.
You'll be collaborating with key programme leads, the Managed Service Provider, and the wider team to ensure the platform's stability and future readiness.
This role does not involve direct, hands-on technical work but focuses on delivering strategic insights and architecture recommendations.
What You'll Do Evaluate Architecture : Review the ERP system's current setup, including forms, workflows, and security configurations.
Advise on Improvements : Provide recommendations on areas such as security and architecture to support the platform's stabilisation.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Work with the Managed Service Provider and the internal team to plan and agree on solutions.
Report findings to senior boards and programme leads as required.
Knowledge Transfer : Share your insights with the in-house team, upskilling them to handle the system as it transitions to BAU (business as usual) operations.
Your Experience Proven experience as a Technical Architect, ideally in ERP systems within public or large-scale organisations – Unit 4 experience is ideal.
Background in system setup reviews, security advisory, and workflow optimisation.
Strong communication skills for presenting recommendations to senior leadership and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
Role Details Day Rate : £725, inside IR35 Location : Primarily remote with occasional in-office meetings in Surrey.
Duration : 6 months, with potential for extension.
