We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join the Scarborough TEC in the role of a Cook.
About the role
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Cook for our refectory at Scarborough TEC.
The refectory facility provides food and beverages for our students and staff, ensuring excellent food is prepared, presented, and served.
The post responsibilities include organising menus, food preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
Keeping records, temperature checking, compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Assisting with ordering food, provisions, consumables, and stock control.
Some flexibility for conference and event functions associated with our Cayley Hall accommodation may be required.
About the person
The ideal person should have excellent professional knowledge and experience in the catering industry, ideally in school and/or college catering.
Must be qualified to hospitality and catering qualification with NVQ Level 2/3 or C&G 706 Level 1 and 2.
You must have experience of EGO inspections, allergen management and menu design.
