Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen at Broadmoor High Secure Hospital for a full-time Team Secretary to a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to join our established Administration Team, part-time hours will also be considered.
We are looking for a highly motivated secretary who works well under pressure.
This role is exceptionally busy and we are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of Microsoft Office packages, high level organisational skills and an ability to manage and prioritise their own workload to meet agreed deadlines and competing priorities.
Above all you will be motivated and hard working with an ability to work as part of our core team.
Due to the nature of the work confidentiality is of great importance Main duties of the job Your duties will include liaising with both internal staff and external agencies.
You will have fast and accurate typing skills and experience of taking comprehensive minutes at meetings.
The ability to work using your own initiative as well as being a team player is essential, so too are excellent interpersonal skills.

Person Specification Qualifications and Training Essential Good standard of general education to at least GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
RSA qualifications or equivalent Proficient in the use of Microsoft software Accurate data entry Copy typing Experience of organising meetings and taking minutes.
Ability to introduce and maintain efficient office systems.
Excellent organisational Skills.
Excellent communication Skills Ability to work within a Multidisciplinary Team.
Ability to prioritise workload.
Ability to work autonomously using own initiative.
Desirable Diploma in administration or business Audio typing skills Shorthand / speedwriting Experience Essential Advanced keyboard skills / IT skills Two years' administrative experience Experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel Secretarial / Administration background.
