Team Manager - Family Support Team

Opus people solutions on behalf of Milton Keynes Council have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join their Family Support Team.
Job Title: Team Manager - Family Support Team Length of assignment: 3 Months Hours per week:37 Hourly rate:£45 Location: Civic Offices, Milton Keynes Remote/Office based: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office Ensure the Council performs its duties and functions in fulfilment of its statutory obligations in relation to child protection including authorisation of assessments, reports and care plans Coordinate the complex work of the team ensuring cases are allocated appropriately and promptly; responding to crisis by directing the work of the team to ensure urgent action is taken to prevent escalation of the problem.
Ensure that all staff are trained, supervised, developed and supported to provide the best possible outcomes for children, families and carers Monitor the team's performance in relation to local and key performance indicators If you thrive to make a difference and have 3 years Social worker experience and this is the role for you, then we would love to hear from you.
