What the Job Involves Providing leadership and management of social workers, advanced practitioners, contact supervisors, and support staff in the Family Support and Child Protection team.
Ensuring a strong focus on achieving positive outcomes for children and families by delivering high-standard social work interventions and safeguarding practices.
Managing and overseeing service quality standards, efficient deployment of resources, and budget control within the allocated team area.
Promoting equality and sustainability, and collaborating with other key agencies such as health, education, and housing.
Strategically leading and contributing to the operational management of services in accordance with agreed national and local standards.
Developing methods for securing effective support from relevant services like HR and finance while maintaining strategic priorities.
Creating a team development plan, monitoring performance to meet Ofsted standards, and leading by example through the TOWER behaviors.
