Right Now Group are currently look for an experienced Team Leader to join our busy client based in Tilbury.
The purpose of this role: Supervise the team and allocate daily tasks to team members Ensure that all team members are trained to the required standard Be flexible and willing to support other divisions / teams as required Fully support the teams with an excellent standard of customer service and apply best practices Ensure that operational regulations are adhered to at all times and when required perform audits.
This would include CAA , GDP and other operational regulations Ensure deadlines are achieved Exceptional service Add value to our services and provide the teams with the skills and knowledge The role will involve: Customer service is paramount and relationship building is essential from day one Demonstrate flexibility and team skills within the department to ensure consistent and uninterrupted service to the client and their customers Lead and motivate the cross functional teams To operate within a multifunctional team and to compliment the offering of client solutions Planning and arrangement of international consignments according to client instructions and requirements End to end monitoring of movements Ensure all enquiries or other communications are actioned promptly and efficiently Ensuring we meet company DATA Quality KPI with required tracking information KPI management and reporting in accordance with current SLA's, ensuring accuracy of work and communication channels are maintained both internal and external Administer the operating procedures as defined by the client Communicate daily on deviations to the transport plan put in place Manage suppliers and the service they provide to us, directly and through the Product Manager To be an escalation point for both customer and team members when facing service failures or challenges Any other delegated tasks as deemed reasonable as assigned by the reporting superior Identify and implement cross training needs within the team to ensure business continuatity and personal development Maintain mailboxes under your control Complete monthly reporting Conduct annual staff appraisals/progress reviews in line with deadline requirements Shift: Monday to Friday Salary: £35,000 If you are an experienced Team Leader looking for a new role and are able to commute to Tilbury please apply for this role!
