Essential Requirements: Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months Fluent in English Excellent Verbal Communication skills Energetic & Resilient Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent Desirable Requirements: Experience in a similar role is preferred i.e. roles where you work directly with vulnerable, young adults or children who may have suffered trauma You like being Active, enjoy doing/playing sports such as swimming, cycling, walking Like the Outdoors and doing outdoor pursuits Has Experience with younger children i.e. 6 to 13 year olds You possess a can-do attitude Can relate to children on all levels Understand this is a 365 days a year job, working various shift patterns Please note, this role is not similar to a care assistant or support worker role within CQC/Domiciliary/Dementia/Adult/Elderly provision About the Role: A national, leading provider of residential care for young people, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Team Leader for their Children's Home. This role involves providing day-to-day care for young people, ensuring smooth operations of the home, and providing leadership and support to the staff team.
Responsibilities: Take care of the day-to-day needs of young people in the residential homes. Ensure the home operates at high standards and that staff are supported. Provide leadership to inspire colleagues and build relationships with young people. Step up to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers when required. Benefits and Incentives: Base salary of £37,292 - £41,072 per year. Bonuses for up to 4 sleep-ins per month, paid at £80 per sleep (approx. £2,880 per year).
