Team Leader - Care

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join our team and oversee the delivery of exceptional care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the care home.
Your responsibilities will include: Medication Administration: Safely administer medication to residents in line with prescribed protocols and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Care Delivery: Assist with personal care tasks, including dressing, bathing, and mobility support, ensuring resident's dignity and comfort at all times.
Team Supervision: Lead and motivate the care team, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with individual care plans.
Dementia Care: Provide compassionate support and tailored care for residents living with dementia, promoting their well-being and independence.
Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records, including care plans, medication logs, and incident reports, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Resident Well-being: Build positive relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns and providing reassurance.
Compliance: Ensure all care practices meet the highest standards of health and safety, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements We're looking for someone who is: Experienced: Previous experience in a similar role within a residential care setting.
Qualified: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) preferred.
Skilled: Confident in administering medication and leading a team.
Compassionate: Passionate about providing person-centred care, especially for individuals with dementia.
Organised: Strong time-management and leadership skills.
Flexible: Willing to work across a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.
