Job summary We are looking to employ a hardworking, conscientious individual who will work as Team Administrator within the York and Selby NHS Talking Therapies Team.
The successful candidate will be required to provide comprehensive administrative services to the Talking Therapies Team, including dealing with both incoming and outgoing telephone calls, booking appointments, managing busy central team inboxes, uploading patient referrals in a timely way, ordering stationary and travel bookings as well as general office duties.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role.
Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job The successful applicant will ideally have an awareness of mental health issues and will be able to demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work.They will have an eye for detail, be organised and work to a high degree of accuracy whilst in a very busy role.As a team player, you'll be able to be flexible and also prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and have a customer focused approach.
Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written coupled with proven secretarial skills and previous experience is essential.
They will be able to effectively and clearly communicate with colleagues, service users and their families.You are required to have NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timescale) good standard of English and Mathematics; experience of working in a busy administrative environment and be proficient in the use of MSOffice with experience of patient records systems.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Level 3 Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management.
Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role.
