Job summary Anopportunity has arisen to work in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Healthand Care NHS Trust Integrated Safeguarding Team.
The team is led by theSafeguarding Services Manager, supported by Safeguarding AdministrationManager.
This administrator role supports the sharing of safeguardinginformation as part of the multi-agency network that provide a coordinatedresponse to safeguarding risks to children, young people and adults.
The teamis a conduit for information from many sources and requires the administrativefunction to be systematic with strong attention to detail.
The nurses in theteam provide safeguarding support and advice in the most complex cases to theTrusts employees.
You will need to be ateam player with a can-do attitude and the ability to work independently withthe team working from home, with the option to work at Kings Court 1,Worcester.
Working hours are Monday-Friday, 8:3016:30.
Main duties of the job The ideal candidate will be approachable, agood communicator, highly organised, with attention to detail, have a calm andtactful disposition, and a can-do approach.
Computer literacy is essentialalong with a strong proven administrative background where knowledge of MSOffice Applications including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and MS Excel isessential.You should have a flexible approach tothe working day to meet the varying and often tight deadlines within theteam.
You will have proven history ofbeing able to prioritise and organise your own workload and that of others.
Thesuccessful candidate will be required to communicate and liaise with a range ofinternal & external agencies and maintain effective internal and externalcontacts.There will be an occasional need tovisit other sites.The post will bring the post holderinto contact with information that can be of a distressing nature and this mustbe taken into consideration for applicants.
