Job summary An opportunity has arisen within our Emergency Department for a 10 Month Fix Term MAT Cover position Starting in March 2025, ED Team Administrator which will be worked over 5 days Monday - Friday.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join the busy Admin team in the adults Emergency Department.
Successful applicants must have excellent communication skills, be customer care focused and be able to work under pressure.
It is essential that you are a good team player and understand patient confidentiality.
Previous experience of minute taking and organising meetings is essential.
Main duties of the job The post-holder will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to Consultants and Senior Nursing staff in Emergency Care.
The post-holder will also be responsible for the management of other administrative tasks to support members of the Emergency Department team and will be responsible for the development of effective data collection systems, meeting preparation, workshops, projects and other events.
The post-holder will demonstrate good keyboard skills and have the ability to type reports, take minutes, organise diaries and other administrative skills required of the post.
