Job summary BNSSG Integrated Care Board (ICB) are looking to recruit a Team Administrator to work in the Elective Care Team to cover Maternity Leave on a 12 month fixed-term contract.
This exciting opportunity will bring the successful applicant into the Elective Care Team in the Performance and Delivery Directorate and work alongside partners across the ICS to deliver services for our population.

The Team Administrator is central to the team and the work.
Main duties of the job We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who would provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services for the Elective Care Team; including for example, forward planning and scheduling of meetings and events, preparation of agendas and all associated papers, taking minutes, maintaining action logs, booking rooms; coordinating diaries with other teams and partners admin teams; supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires for the Elective Care team and the wider Directorate.

Job description Job responsibilities General Duties: Provide specialist secretarial/administration support and advice to the Elective Care team and wider Directorate, undertaking administrative duties such as providing meeting support and coordinating email distributions such as newsletters and other relevant tasks.
Ensuring all urgent and/or confidential communications are received and distributed from/to relevant parties in a timely manner.
Participating in Directorate events.
Working with all team members in the collection of information for performance reporting on relevant team projects.
Acting as a point of contact for teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously.
Running and collating reports which may include reports to the Board and senior management as required.
Providing guidance and advice on relevant policies and procedures.
Preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing notes of meetings including typing up of group discussions and interviews as necessary Be aware of and have commitment to and actively promote the principles of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
Comply with associated legislation and policies.
Person Specification Knowledge, Training and Experience Essential Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
Significant administrative/ secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems.
Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access.
Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
Knowledge of NHS issues.
Communication skills Essential Clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/ instructions to staff and service users.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and able to multitask.
Effective team working.
