What skills and experience we're looking for
We have a position available for 13.25 hours a week with anadditional 1.5 hours of lunchtime support.
The role would be every Wednesdayafternoon, Thursday and Friday on Grade 3 and then support over lunchtime onGrade 2 Scp 3.
We require a caring and enthusiastic qualified Teaching Assistantto support in one of our KS1 classes.
Working closely with the Class Teacher and SEND Co-ordinator yourrole will be to assist in promoting the learning and personal development ofthe pupils in the class, to enable them to make the best use of the educationalopportunities available.
The successful candidate will need to have goodcommunication skills to enable a close working relationship with parents andstaff and be attuned to the pupils' needs.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate that they can support thedelivery of a highly stimulating learning experience.
We are looking forsomeone who is able to aid learning as effectively as possible, clarify andexplain instructions and assist with the development of language and socialskills.
Thesuccessful applicant will be able to motivate and inspire children and worksuccessfully as part of our teaching team.We are looking for someone with a positive and sensitive approach thatputs the needs of the child first and has the ability to show initiative.
They will be expected to have the vision,energy and dedication to support the delivery of outstanding outcomes for alllearners.
