What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and caring teaching assistant to work flexibly and co-operatively within our Key Stage 1 and 2 classes.
This position is until 31stAugust 2025 in the first instance and is for 31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The position will also include a one hour lunch duty each day.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of our happy, friendly primary school in the heart of Temple Ewell community.
Duties will include:
supporting individual pupils and small groups in their learning, observing how pupils learn and assessing further learning needs, supporting the teacher with all aspects of children's learning.

You will need to possess:
An NVQ Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or 2 GCSEs (A-C) passes (or equivalent) in English and Maths;
Recent relevant experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age, preferably within a school or Early Years setting.
A good understanding of the Key stage 1 and 2 Curriculum.
A commitment to working with parents as partners.
