What skills and experience we're looking for
We have a vacancy to support a young person in our school, with arange of needs, including social, physical, communication and interaction,cognition and learning.
The role entails supporting the student in theirtimetabled lessons and with personal care.
Due to the additionalresponsibilities of liaising with external agencies who are providingintervention and for planning and preparing suitable resources, there is anadditional responsibility allowance allocated to the role.
The desired candidate would need to demonstrate a positive andcaring relationship with all children and share our passion for supportingchildren to thrive and learn.
Ideally applicants will have some experience ofworking with children with a physical disability, but it is not essential.Flexibility, emotional resilience, and a sense of humour are essential!
It would be possible for the role to be part time or full time.Full time hours would also include some planning and preparation time tosupport the young person's intervention support as well as general TA supportwith other classes.
