What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will need to be:
An excellent practitioner whodelivers highly effective SEND leadership to inspire and motivate others.
In receipt of the National Award for SpecialEducational Needs Co-ordination or SENCO national professional qualification orbe working towards the latter qualification.
Passionate about providing the best possibleprovision for children with additional needs.
Able to form positive relationships with the wholeschool community and work collaboratively with colleagues.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting thewelfare of children and young people.
Supportive of the school's positive behaviourmanagement strategies.
Committed to research based professionaldevelopment, of themselves and colleagues.
Able to contribute to whole school community activities and events.
Able to set very high expectations for all children, both academically and in their behaviour.
