The post will be reviewed prior to the end of this period.
Salary scale: G3.6 - G3.9 Actual salary: £19,904-£20,861 gross per annum We are looking to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant to work with two SEND children - one currently in Reception and another currently in Year 2.
Reception - To support a child with social communication and interaction needs to enable the child to access the curriculum.
Year 2 - To adapt the child's learning provision to support their focus and attention in the classroom.
The role may also require the successful candidate to provide intimate care.
The role requires you to support teaching staff in the development and education of the pupils and to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of the pupils to enable them to make the best use of the educational opportunities available to them.
Applicants should have achieved Grade C or above in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent and a minimum of a Level 3 diploma in specialist support for teaching & learning in schools.
