This is a fixed term contract until 31 August2025.
The salary is £23,337 full time equivalent Kent Range 3, actual pro rata salary £17,332.97 based on 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 38 weeks per year.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has good SEN experience - someone who is good with behaviours, robust and can think on their feet when dealing with children who exhibit challenging behaviour.
They will be able to work on a 1:1 level with pupils, as well as supporting small groups of pupils who require guidance and strategies to understand academic and behavioural expectations to participate in mainstream teaching, wherever possible.
We require organised professionals who have: Good interpersonal skills and an ability to remain calm and patient even when under pressure.
• Good standards of English and Maths.
• The ability to liaise with staff, parents and professionals offering support and challenge as appropriate.
• The ability to work using your own initiative at a highly professional level.
• A secure knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.
• A thorough understanding of differing needs and vulnerability of children.
• You will have experience in enabling high quality inclusive provision.
You will be skilled in delivering arange of interventions and in working alongside parents and professionals.
