Contract: Permanent and Part-Time (25hours per week, 6:45am-9:45am & 4:00pm-6:00pm, term time only)

Job Overview
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in building and routine maintenance, caretaking and decorating
- The ability to ensure the safety, tidiness, security and comfort of school facilities and appropriately deal with any defects/hazards identified in the school premises, procedures and equipment.
- A personable manner and has a flexible approach to all duties undertaken
- The ability to prioritise work, acting on their own initiative
About this Role
The purpose of the role is to provide support to the school regarding preventative maintenance, general building repairs, health & safety compliance and security.
This includes:-
- Opening/closing of school building
- Security
- Cleanliness
- Porterage
- Monitoring contractors
- Routine maintenance (joinery, plumbing etc) and refurbishment
- Minor repairs
- Advising the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on suggested improvements to the general school environment
- Completing a cycle of periodic health & safety compliance checks
- Undertaking any training in order to keep up to date with current health & safety guidance.
