What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a confident andself-motivated individual to provide specialist skills and knowledge to ensurethat pupils and students who have literacy-related special educational needs orother needs affecting literacy make progress.
You will conduct ongoing literacy assessments ofpupils and students to ensure that interventions are matched effectively.
This will involve planning, preparing anddelivering literacy learning programmes and monitoring the pupils/students byassessing, recording and reporting on their achievements, progress anddevelopment.
Applicantsneed to possess strong literacy skills and will be required to sit a literacytest as part of the interview process.Where necessary, training will be provided for the successful candidate.
