What skills and experience we're looking for
With a focus on supporting our increasing number ofstudents with special educational needs, we are excited to be able to offer arange of opportunities for individuals to join us in the role of LearningSupport Assistant.
Joining our existing SEN team and with opportunities onboth our Ruskington and Sleaford campuses, the roles will provide essentialsupport in our general classrooms, in our Personalised Learning Centre and inour dedicated and specialised inclusion facility.
You will be required to work with individual children,having special or particular needs, in accordance with the child's statementwhere appropriate and/or groups of children as directed by the teacher.
You will also provide support to the teachingstaff across a range of child centred activities to promote child developmentand learning.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 GCSE's to includeEnglish and Maths from grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent or be able to demonstratea willingness to work towards achieving these qualifications.
The ability totravel between the two campuses is considered essential.
Providing a valuable andmeaningful opportunity to support children who have difficulty in accessingtheir learning, the roles also support a stepping stone for those looking toprogress their career.
Future promotion opportunities include our Specialistand Senior LSA positions, through to our Higher-Level Teaching Assistants and /or transition to our teacher training programme to become a fully qualifiedteacher.
