What skills and experience we're looking for
We prideourselves on our outstanding quality of education and are seeking to strengthenand increase our team by expanding our bank of supply staff who will be placedaccording to the needs of the school.
Many ofour pupils have complex medical needs as well as learning and/or communicationdifficulties.
You will be expected to work across the school individually withpupils and/or with groups in classes.
The pupils require high levels of adultsupport not only to access the school curriculum but also with personal careroutines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Attendsto the pupils' personal needs, and implement related personal programmes,including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters Preparesclassroom as directed for lessons and clear afterwards and assists with thedisplay of pupils' work Encouragespupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher Supportsthe teacher in managing pupil behaviour, reporting difficulties as appropriate Be awareof pupil problems/progress/achievements and report to the teacher as agreed
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Experiencein working with or caring for children of relevant age Abilityto support pupils learning consistently whilst recognising and responding totheir individual needs.
Workconstructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles andresponsibilities and your own position within these
