Our school is a mixed, all-through academy for pupils aged3-16 from wards across South Bristol.
The school community reflects the richlydiverse local community it serves, is growing in all phases and has improvedrapidly and sustainably in recent years.
This role will be responsible for thestrategic leadership of SEND across our campus.
You will lead our two SENDCos andour SEMH Lead, who work closely together to meet the needs of our SENDlearners, who make up nearly 30% of our school cohort.
You will ensure outstanding teaching &learning and additional support is in place, guaranteeing a high-qualityeducation for all SEND pupils.
Since this is a new and additional role with ourleadership team, the successful candidate will report directly to theHeadteacher for the first two terms in post whilst the role is shaped to ensuremaximum impact for the 2025/26 academic year and beyond.
Since this is a rolethat will operate throughout our all-through setting, this will also supportthe candidate to build a deep understanding of our Early Years, Primary andSecondary phases.
