Teaching Assistant - Year 2

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an OFSTED rated 'Good' Primary School in North East Birmingham on a long term basis.
The role is a Maternity Cover position with the potential to extend the role beyond the end of the academic year.
Location: Birmingham Time: 8:30am - 3:30pm Pay: £85-95 per day Key Responsibilities Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons Assist with planning and preparing classroom and learning resources Help maintain a positive and productive learning environment through behaviour management strategies Support students with intervention on 1:1 and small group basis Monitor and track student progress and behaviour Requirements Previous experience working within an educational setting Right to work in the UK A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children Experience working with SEND pupils is ideal
