Job description Job Title: Welsh Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) - Year 3 Location: Cardiff Salary: Minimum £85.00 per day Start Date: January 2024 Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a boy in Year 5 at a primary school in Ely, Cardiff.

Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to a Year 5 student, helping him to achieve his academic goals.
Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the student remains engaged and on task.
Implement learning strategies and activities to support the child's individual needs.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Work closely with the class teacher to monitor and report on the student's progress.
Assist with any additional duties as required by the class teacher or school management.
Requirements: Fluent in Welsh and English.
Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
