We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our dynamic and supportive team in Dibden Purlieu.
Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant (TA) , you will play a vital role in assisting teachers with lesson delivery, supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping to foster a positive educational experience.
Your contribution will be key in ensuring all pupils receive the guidance and encouragement necessary to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students.
Assist teachers in planning and delivering high-quality lessons.
Support students with additional learning needs, including SEND.
Help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
Aid in lesson preparation, resource management and classroom organisation.
Encourage student engagement, confidence and independent learning.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN coordinators and other staff to track student progress.
What We Are Looking For: We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate about supporting students.
The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
Knowledge of the curriculum and effective teaching support strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Patience, empathy and an understanding of how to support children's individual needs.
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) is desirable but not essential.
Commitment to professional development and the ability to adapt to new teaching techniques and practices.
Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant (TA), you should: Have the right to work in the UK .
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years .
Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
