SEND Teaching Assistants Needed in Specialist Schools across East Sussex

Job Description:As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning, social development, and daily activities.
Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will provide individualised support, assist with classroom management, and help create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SENDAssist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategiesSupport students during lessons, helping to reinforce learning objectives and provide additional guidance when neededFoster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleaguesPromote inclusion and diversity within the school communityParticipate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledgeRequirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEND is desirable but not essentialStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPatience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a differenceAbility to work effectively as part of a teamFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environmentRelevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is advantageousBenefits:
