TEACHING ASSISTANT – LEVEL 1 Lansdown Park Academy Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (TTO) + INSET Hours: 32.5 hours per week Salary: CLF Grade B (£23,846 - £26,108) Actual Salary: £17,935 Advert Closing Date: 10th January We have an opportunity to join our amazing team at Lansdown Park Academy, a Pupil Referral Unit / Early Intervention Base in South Bristol, supporting pupils whose primary need is often SEMH.

You will receive ongoing training and join a friendly, supportive team, working term time only.
What we are looking for: We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Teaching Assistant.
While TA experience and qualification are beneficial, we prioritize personal qualities.
We will invest in the successful candidate to ensure they receive the necessary training and opportunities.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist in the educational, personal, and social development of pupils under the guidance of relevant colleagues (e.g., the Principal, SENCo, phase leaders, and class teachers).
You will support students using relevant strategies to help them access the curriculum, engage with their learning, and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities include implementing planned learning activities, adjusting activities based on student responses, and working collaboratively to fulfill the role's requirements.
