Teaching Assistant SEND supportResponsible to: SLT/ HLTA We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to work at our wonderful village school.
We offer you the opportunity to join a hardworking, supportive team of staff; enthusiastic children and parents all within a beautiful, rural setting.
This vacancy will require you to work alongside a child to support them with accessing their education and ensuring they are meeting the personal targets set for them.
The ability to quickly form a positive working relationship with the family is vital.
Previous experience of working with pupils with additional needs is desirable.
You will have initiative and be a confident communicator, with effective numeracy and literacy skills and some knowledge of the primary national curriculum.
The role will include supporting the child through part of their physical breaks, lunch times and their independent learning times and learning interventions.
The working hours for the teaching assistant post will be - 12:45 Monday to Friday.
