Position: Teaching Assistant Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester Salary: £23,400 - £24,765 Depending on experience and Qualification Key Responsibilities: Mentor, Support, inspire: Work closely with learners, providing curriculum-based support both in the classroom and through home tuition, outreach, and outdoor activities.
Prepare and Deliver: Assist in preparing learning materials and contribute to achieving learning objectives, with a strong emphasis on behavioural management.
Track Progress: Maintain daily reports on learners' progress and address any barriers to learning.
Engage with Families: Regularly communicate and interact with parents and caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to education.
Ideal Candidate: Passion for SEND: Demonstrates a committed and passionate approach to supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in a SEND environment or similar educational setting.
Qualifications: A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous.
