Teaching Assistant Full time Term time only September start £11.85 - £14.25 per hour Long- Term Teachers are working with a fantastic specialist education provision that supports children ages 2-19 .
All students have profound multiple learning difficulties and complex needs , in addition medical and mental health .
Part of a fantastic multi academy trust, that supports a number of Specialist provisions in and around Wiltshire . Commencing in September 2024, you will be contracted to work full time , Monday to Friday term time only .
Your hours of work will be 8:30am - 3:30pm (Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri).
Then you have a fantastic opportunity to be offered training to develop your skillset, this will be after school every Wednesday until 4pm. Key duties of the role: To offer general classroom support, in addition to 1:1 and small group interventions To provide care as required, which may include personal care and support for mental health and well-being To assist with lesson preparation and supervision during activities, ensuring students are feeling supported in a safe environment To ensure the safeguarding of all pupils, by operating with the Education Provisions (EP) safeguarding practice & policy, reporting to the Safeguarding team any concerns and record information on the EPs safeguarding system To support all pupils to access the curriculum and promote progress and achievement It is also key that you are reporting regularly to the class teacher and senior leadership team, to monitor students progress.
You will be expected to report and record evidence of pupil's progress and achievement on the EPs monitoring system.
In addition to this, it is paramount that you inform the Teacher or lead of any safeguarding concerns they have raised.
